Founded by Ray VanZandt and carried on by his family, our practice offers the personal attention you won’t get from a chain or a do-it-yourself app. We prepare your return carefully, answer your questions in plain language, and help you plan ahead so there are fewer surprises next tax season.
We make the process work around your schedule. Meet with us in person, drop off your documents and pick up your completed return, or simply mail or email your paperwork to us. We’ll return your finished paperwork the same way we received it: by pick-up, postal mail, or email. Whichever option you choose, you’ll get the same fast, dependable, and affordable service our clients have trusted for generations.

In-person appointments
Sit down with us and go through your return together. Bring your documents and your questions; we will walk through everything in plain language.
Drop-off and pick-up
Short on time? Drop your documents off with us, and we will prepare your return and have it ready for you to review and pick up.
Mail-in or email
Mail your documents to 1548 Buffalo Road, Rochester, NY 14624, or email them to vanzandtassociates@gmail.com. We'll return your finished paperwork the same way we received it: by pick-up, postal mail, or email.

How do I request an appointment?
Use the appointment request form on our website, or contact us by phone or email. Tell us your preferred date and time, and we’ll confirm your appointment with you.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring your income documents, such as W-2s and 1099s, along with any records of deductions or credits you plan to claim. Please also bring your driver’s license or other government-issued photo ID and a copy of last year’s tax return.
